The following is a brief overview of the after school activities available to our students during the school week.

Antonia runs Art Classes on Tuesdays from 2-3pm for Infants and from 3-4pm for students in 1st-6th Class. The students are creatively involved with designing and producing artwork through drawing, painting, construction, collage, use of fabric & fibre and print making.
Eoin teaches religion after school on Mondays to children who wish to receive the sacraments of the Eucharist and the sacrament of Confirmation. Each year children from Claregalway Educate Together join the local schools in this celebration.
Hurling/Camogie for 3rd class - 6th class on Tuesdays at 3pm . Eimear, Mary and Philip coach these sessions at the Community Centre across the road from the school.
Damien teaches coding after school on Mondays and Tuesdays Coding promotes teamwork, problem solving, creativity and presentation skills. Coding is open to students from 2nd to 6th Class.
Monika teaches Spanish every Tuesday from 2-2.45pm for the Infant classes and from 3-3.45pm for students from 1st-6th class. Songs, fun and games in Spanish!
Jason runs chess classes every Thursday from 3-4pm for students from 1st-6th Class.
Niamh, Siobhán, Daniel and Laura coach the volleyball sessions every Thursday from 3-4pm at the Community Centre across the road from the school.
These sessions are open to 5th and 6th Class students.
The Genevieve Ryan Dance Academy
Each Friday:
2.00pm- 2.45pm Happy Feet
3.00pm-4.00pm Dance Club
- Keyboard supplied for each pupil in class.
- Each child is given a music book with the course material for the school year.
- Students learn music from Grade 1 to Grade 8 level.
-Keyboard is recognised as a practical instrument for Junior and Leaving cert.
