Dress Up Day
There were some original and creative costumes on show for our annual Dress Up Day at C.E.T.N.S. We were lucky to have such beautiful weather. Happy Mid-Term!
1st Class were delighted that they got to see the Six Nations Trophy & Triple Crown. They have been learning some badminton skills during P.E. lessons and also do Chair Yoga on Thursday mornings. We really enjoyed our autumn walk in the sunshine and love Fridays as they get to change their library book in our beautiful new Woodlands Library.
The Junior Infants had so much fun with their 6th class buddies last week. The 6th class taught the actions and words for the New Zealand Haka as gaeilge (In the Irish language) to the Junior Infants. This also helped the 6th class to prepare for their September assembly performance for the Senior end of the school.
In a world where technology often takes center stage, it's truly refreshing to witness the simple joys that can be found in mindfulness and movement. Such was the case when our 2nd class embarked on an extraordinary journey into the world of chair yoga. We aim to continue these sessions over the coming weeks.
Hi all,
2nd class tour pictures are available to view in the 2nd class page.
Last week Staff, Students and Parents were educated on better online safety. We learned about some dangers associated with online gaming and how to keep ourselves safe whilst online.
Neurodiversity Week 2023
This month we came together to recognise the many talents of neurodivergent people and discussed the advantages of being neurodivergent. United, we can create a more inclusive and equitable environment that celebrates differences and empowers every individual. Thank you to Dr. Claire Brennan who facilitated an interactive and thought provoking talk with children from 1st to 6th class all about neurodiversity.
Great minds don’t always think alike.
